This makes me sick!! This is child abuse with out a doubt. I have never agreed with children getting baptized even when i was in because they are too young to understand what they are truly agreeing to. This was one of the things that really opened my eyes to TTATT. One of my best friends teenage daughter was disfellowshipped and treated terribly and I just didn't agree with what happened and it woke me up. I have seen too many children disfellowshipped and they have terrible emotional problems for years to come. I will never understand how they think this is what Jesus would do. It is such a dangerous cult and this is one of the reasons why.

WT August 15, 2013 QFR - Sitting next to a disfellowshipped child at meetings
by Designer Stubble inpage 8 of the latest wt (insider version) has a whole page dedicated to the question whether it is appropriate to sit next to a disfellowshipped child at meetings.. not sure how to paste this in, but check jw.org.
perhaps someone can do this for me.. horrible, no words really on how pharisee like their cult grip and control has become!.
first of all, without any shame they are talking about disfellowshipped minors.

Interesting conversation
by Freeof1914 inas some of you know several weeks ago i was disfellowshipped for several reasons, but primarily my thoughts on the organization.
last night i had a very interesting conversations with my wife after she came back from the meeting and several things jumped out at me that made see even more clearly how sick this religion is.
first of all, several months ago we attended a wedding of a friend.

Wow, that was mean but true, they don't care about anyone unless they hold a position. I am sorry you are going through this but hopefully you can get your wife out.

thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

This is what happens when you have someone who is not trained or educated handling things like this, it is one BIG mess! I can't believe some of the craziness of this and coming from a man who wears a Viagra tie who can't see the hypocrisy of that. I will never go before a group of elders. So far we are scucessfully faded but if they should ask to meet with us I have already decided I would DA myself first. I would never put myself through their abuse and that is what these meetings are.

People who pioneer on government assistance
by ilikecheese ini had a chat with my boyfriend about this, and he said that he knows quite a few pioneers who are capable of working but prefer to pioneer with government assistance.
his thought was, "well, it's kind of bad, but at least they're doing something useful/good with their time.
" i know from reading this board that it's a pretty widespread thing.

Before I started to study my husbands (now ex) sister -in-law told me that she was going to go on welfare and pioneer. I remember being so upset that anyone would even consider it. That should have made me run the other way and it tells you how naive I was 31 years ago!

i believe she needs some encouragement and well wishes.. mouthy, you don't need to respond to this thread if you don't feel up to it.

LouBelle, I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you. Life can be very difficult at times but there will be better days ahead. Try to do something different to change your life. If the depression continues you may want to get yourself to a dr and a counselor so you get on the road to recovery. I have been there and things are so much better for me now. I also have taken control of my life and made huge changes and sometimes we have to do that. We may have to change professions or job, get rid of toxic people in our lives but don't give up hate ver you do. Fight to make things better for yourself. If you ever need someone to talk to I would be more than happy to sit nd talk with you. You are a great lady and just keep taking the little steps to change your life and I guarantee it will get better in no time. Get a good night sleep tonight and hopefully whe you wake yo you will feel better What is it with happified? An old bro in my old cong used to use it all the time in his talks and I'd snicker to myself at how much he sounded like a dope. I thought it was just something he'd come up with while dementia was creeping round the edges of his brain. Seeing it here on this board - is it commonly used in the congregations you others have been to? Is it regional?
Sorry for going off-topic. The spiritual heritage wt left me with one big, fat comment in my mind "How can we appreciate our spiritual heritage if we're not allowed to research it? If our spiritual heritage is so great, why can't you access WTs from before 1950, or the ground-breaking works of JFR through official channels? Smells like 'cult' to me."????????????
